FAR WEST TEXAS - Calling all Far West Texas cities, counties, builders, developers, contractors, and commercial property owners looking to improve your building’s electrical, solar, plumbing, lighting, and heating and cooling systems.
The Texas Property Assessed Clean Energy (TX-PACE) is an innovative financing program that offers commercial, industrial, and large multifamily property owners an opportunity to participate in a voluntary program to obtain up to 100% financing for water conservation, energy-efficiency, and distributed generation retrofits.
Building infrastructure improvements for city and county public properties may qualify through the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO).
The presentation is hosted by TX-PACE Texas PACE Authority; SECO, State Energy Conservation Office (texas.gov); and the Rio Grande Council of Governments www.riocog.org.
TX-PACE is not a personal or business loan. It is a voluntary land-secured assessment that is paid off over time. The energy and/or water savings are structured to exceed the cost of the assessment, resulting in projects that are cash flow positive. As the assessment is tied to the property, the repayment obligation transfers to the next owner if the property is sold.
