I am looking for someone to install a utility pole on my property. The hole would need to be dug, utility pole would need to be installed and then filled and secured. I contacted the power company AEP however they said they no longer provide that service. Does anyone know someone or a company that is willing to do that? Thank you

How long is the pole and how many feet would you want to set it into the ground? I put in a handful of 15-18' poles recently. I sunk them about 3.5' or so and used concrete to fill them in. I figured out some things about moving them around and getting them set up without any equipment beyond a shovel. I'm at 520-955-9025 and if you end up needing a hand I'd be glad to help. -Jason

Utility poles are buried according to a particular formula — 10 percent of the pole’s height plus two feet equals the appropriate depth of burial. A standard utility pole measures 40 feet, so a standard hole will go about 6 feet down into the ground.
