Ironically, as I announced my retirement from cooking commercially after 11 years of continuous commercial cooking here in Marfa (Padres, Boyz2Men taco trailer, Hombres) the Coronavirus hit and we, like most other places in town, closed.
The future is obviously uncertain for a number of ventures here and everywhere, but in the meantime my wife Hilary decided to move forward aggressively with our plan to have a good website for merchandise and other projects that would include some cooking and other ventures.
Enter her's and my interest in preserving some part time jobs for our workers (most everyone at Hombres has or had another primary job and this was their extra) and we are up and running with a new website and new procedures for executing take out orders and online ordering.
Visit http://www.hombresmarfa.com to order food in advance or on the go, order merch, order 6 packs of beer that the grocery stores don't carry (pickle beer, Abita beers, Hard Cider, Crawford Bock, many more) or just to check it out.
