Marfa Gliders Flight School Educational Opportunity.
Learn about aviation and airport operations by joining my ground crew at Marfa Airport, assisting in moving and launching my gliders and towplanes. I welcome motivated, safety-oriented, athletic adults 18 years old and older to schedule an interview with me.
Must be “heads up” -- off the cellphone with your eyes on the sky to monitor takeoffs and landings of the gliders and towplanes. This is part-time volunteer work. Your reward will be free glider rides.
We fly gliders one or more days a week, mostly on the weekends, year-round, when the weather is sunny and not too windy.
We must always maintain a perfect balance of Safety and Fun at Marfa Gliders!
Make an appointment for your interview for this unique and interesting activity by sending Burt Compton an e-mail to[email protected]
