Summer is coming to a close in Marfa so that means…it is time for the return of Caftans & Casseroles!
Marfa Live Arts invites you to spend a glorious summer afternoon with us this Sunday, August 26, 2018, at one of Marfa’s best kept secrets—the pool and tennis courts built in the 1960s by Bill Shurley Pool nestled in the northwest edge of town. Please join us—it will be a fun Sunday hang with casseroles by The Waterstop, music by Anthony DeSimone, caftans from Raba, swimming in salt water pool and good company. The Shurley Pool is located at the corner of N. Ridge and 3rd St. Park on West 3rd St. Please no parking at the home located at 701 West 4th Street.

So far in 2018, we have held nine free events for the Marfa community ranging from electronic music from New York and Lebanon to the annual evening of One Act Plays, which are written by Marfa ISD students and performed by local actors. We bring diverse events throughout the year that consist of music, writing, dance, art, performance, theater, film, and more to Marfa.
If you have enjoyed any of of our events over the years, consider this fundraiser your chance to contribute to the continuation of such programming in Marfa.
