Big Bend Conservation Alliance invites you to the second annual West Texas Water Symposium on Saturday, April 21st from 9AM-4PM at the USO Building in Marfa (302 S. Highland Street).
The event is free and open to the public with lunch provided and a closing happy hour.
Water experts will be discussing regional hydrology, impacts to water depletion and solutions for water restoration.
Featured speakers include: ~ Dr. Zachariah Hildenbrand from Collaborative Laboratories for Environmental Analysis and Remediation (CLEAR) at the University of Texas at Arlington ~ Dr. Ron Green from Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio ~ Mr. Robert Potts from the Dixon Water Foundation in Marfa ~ Ms. Sharlene Leurig from Meadows Center for Water and Environment in San Marcos ~ Mr. Mike Gershon from Lloyd Gosselink Attorneys at Law
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with speakers and other water experts during a panel discussion and small group break-out sessions.
