The Marfa Studio of Arts is inviting local artists and artisans to set up tables in our gallery at 106 East San Antonio on Friday, November 24 (Black Friday) to sell your locally made goods. Participants can set up one table no longer than 8 feet in the gallery and will be charged a $20 table fee for the day. You will need to be responsible for your money, credit or cash. Pre-packaged food items are acceptable like canned goods, bakery items etc. All food items should be packaged for the buyer to take with them. A small table will be set up for some light refreshments for the customers and vendors should contribute to this with some cookies, candies, simple holiday treats.
The purpose of this event is to capture the tourist activity during Thanksgiving weekend and help local artists make a bit of money for the holidays as well as encourage people to buy gifts locally. Vendors will be allowed to set up at 10 a.m. on Friday and must be ready at 12 noon. Tables must be taken down and taken away by 5 p.m. that evening.
