AARP based in Austin, TX is sending Kim Loop to Marfa next week to interview people of all ages with compelling health care and health insurance stories they want to share on videotape. (These videotapes may be posted on the AARP FB page.)
"Specifically, we're looking for real, heartfelt stories about the impact having and not having access to health care has on a broad spectrum of Texan--individuals and families of all ages. This is part of a larger, nationwide effort. We're urging Congress to start from scratch and write a bill that lowers premiums, protects people with pre-existing conditions, strengthens Medicare and Medicaid, and provides affordable coverage to all Americans without giving billions away to special interests. If you're interested in learning more, please contact Kim Loop at email@example.com."
