Hi. The Davis Divas and Diablos invite you to join us for bicycle rides on Sundays (weather permitting). We leave Marfa/FtDavis/Alpine on an alternating schedule, usually at 9am. We're very social and not competitive at all. A typical ride is about 2-3 hours long and, frankly, it's a pretty eclectic bunch. There's always someone to talk to, and we welcome all points of view. Most of us have road bikes and most of the riding is on pavement.
All welcome. This week's ride will start at the Stone Village Market in FD at 9am.
Send me your contact info by pm and I'll add you to the email list. We're trying to get everyone onto WhatsApp so we can text and keep in touch by text.
Hi - I'm considering a month-long visit to Marfa in May, but am wondering about general road-biking conditions. I like to ride about 20 miles a day. Is that doable in this general area? Are there enough good roads with at least 4-5 different routes of that apx length, and where a person would feel safe riding alone?

Hi Liz. Yes, there are plenty of rides of that length in the area on well paved roads. PM me and I can give you details. I believe the area is safe for a solo woman rider but can put you in touch with other women riders in the area for details. Robert
